Monday, July 28th – U.S Nationals approaches, and people are tight-lipped regarding their Standard technology. As a break of pace from his usual high strategy, today’s Innovations sees Patrick interview one of the true greats of the game, Gabriel Nassif. He questions Gabriel on Magical improvement, Eventide thoughts, and the life of a Pro Tour legend…

Monday, July 28th – 2007 Vintage World Champion Stephen Menendian has a title to defend… and he’s not taking the task lightly. With the recent restrictions still causing shockwaves through the Vintage metagame, Stephen examines his options as the 2008 World Championship approaches. Where will he lay his hat this year? Read on to find out!

Monday, July 28th – The Kentucky Open was a week or so ago, and I decided to make a weekend of it. Originally, I was planning on going to ‘double dip’ on PTQs, since there was one on Saturday in Cleveland and then one on Sunday in Louisville, but I decided to save on gas and just spend the weekend in Kentucky.

Monday, July 28th – Christopher Coppola analyzes the Top 8 results of fourteen large tournaments and discusses the current state of the format.

Friday, July 25th – With Mike Flores taking a well-earned week off, today we have Constructed master Gerry Thompson, and a tale of a double-header PTQ weekend in which he came close, but not close enough. His weapon of choice for the two-day Magic extravaganza? Five-Color Fae. He brings us intricate match recaps and deck analysis, alongside an Eventide-friendly list he plans on playing at his next Block Constructed PTQ…

Friday, July 25th – U.S. Nationals is coming, and Magic’s great and good are beavering away in the search for super-crazy Standard tech. With Eventide firmly in the mix, Adrian takes a long look at the Red decks of the format, and offers a build he believes may have the strength to make a splash in the upcoming metagame…

Friday, July 25th – Hello everybody, and welcome to another edition of the Magic Show. This week we’ll take a closer look at Eventide and detail its impact on Standard and Block, cover my own Top 16 performance at last weekend’s Kentucky Open, and get ready for the upcoming PTQs, Nationals, and more. Let’s go!

Friday, July 25th – With just one last Pro Tour Qualifier to go before Eventide rotated into the Block Constructed format, my mission (should I choose to accept it) was to drive myself and four compatriots to Boston for the weekend and play a deck with Bitterblossom for eight hours…

Friday, July 25th – This week, let’s try talking about something a little different, away from the usual Faeries du jour, or even the Block Constructed format at all. I’m going to take a break and talk about something I’ve been enjoying lately: Shadowmoor-Shadowmoor-Eventide Draft, and forcing colors.

Thursday, July 24th – Richard is still dedicated to playing an interactive, tricky and (most likely) Blue deck in the post-Eventide Block Constructed environment. Today, he trawls through some of the more controlling sweetmeats on offer from the latest set, and shares a couple of possible Block decklists…

Thursday, July 24th – Lorwyn / Shadowmoor Block Constructed PTQs continue apace, and the Faerie menace rumbles on. While the smart money is on the Fae, there are those players who refuse to run with the strongest deck in any particular format… and Kyle, with Kithkin, is one of them today. Kithkin took down the whole PTQ, and Kyle relives his tournament in typical Sanchez fashion. Of course, the day isn’t all plain sailing, and there’s the obligatory twist at the end…

Thursday, July 24th – I ran a PTQ last weekend. The Top 8 happened – Faeries and Faeries and Merfolk and Faeries and some Elementals and – who cares? That format is dead already. It was pre-Eventide, so everything will change. I’ll talk a bit about it, then I’ll look at some Eventide cards. That’s more interesting.

Thursday, July 24th – Eventide’s nearing the shelves, so it’s time to look through the cards and find those “necessities” that the budget player should be focusing on finding.

Thursday, July 24th – Welcome to the Thursday column dedicated to bringing you topics pertinent to the largest chunk of Magic players out there, the casual world. This is your pilot, cruising with you to a nice altitude in search of new worlds for the column to explore. Today I want to write about a topic that weighs heavy on the hearts of casual players everywhere. I want to talk about land destruction.
