Friday, June 12th – It was announced on Wednesday that there will in fact be some significant rules changes with the coming of Magic 2010, and I felt it would be best to spend this week’s column having a look at some of the changes, both from the point of view of a Magic tournament player and the point of view of a Magic aesthetic.
Thursday, June 11th – In Hawaii, Brian Kibler returned to Pro Tour competition with a bang. Today’s Feature Article sees the fan favorite wax lyrical about his departure from the competitive game, the day in which he regained his fire, and the extensive preparations he put in for the Honolulu tournament. Thursday, June 11th – After some fine fighting form with White Weenie in a number of high-profile events, Cedric Phillips turned to the Dark Side and piloted Five-Color Control at Pro Tour: Honolulu. While the results certainly didn’t go his way, the stories from his report show he had a blast on the beach!
Thursday, June 11th – When we last left our hero, Grand Prix: Seattle had just ended and the quest for a tuned block decklist was in its final legs. To complicate matters, it was the week before finals, and the GP the week prior had left several University final projects uncompleted, meaning they still had to be done before venturing to Hawaii…

Thursday, June 11th – What a hectic month of judging I’ve had! Since we last chatted, I’ve judged at a Regionals in Cardiff, A GPT, a PTQ and a Regionals in Kent held on consecutive days, a London Regionals, and a local Standard tournament to qualify for the Bath Invitational, not to mention playing weekly at the FNM. You would have thought with all that Magic the last thing I would want to do is write about judging, but far from it!

I played well, but I don€™t want to claim that I attained some newfound mastery. Bloodbraid Elf was clearly the best card in the format, so we played more and better Bloodbraid Elves.
