Monday, March 1st – After Day 1 of the Pro Tour in San Diego, murmurs could be heard that Jund was dead, and everyone heralded a new era full of Wild Nacatls and Jace, the Mind Sculptor. However, when the dust cleared and the last few rounds of Standard commenced, Jund was scattered across many top tables, and eventually put multiple copies into the Top 8.

Friday, February 26th – Readers of my previous article on Pro Tour: Austin are familiar with how important socialization is to the Pro Tour experience – as much so for judges as it is for players. San Diego was exceptionally good, in that many of my favorite judges were on staff. However, this Pro Tour would be slightly different in content and context, as this was the Pro Tour at which I would test for Level Three.

Instead of adding my boots to ground well-trodden by guys far more knowledgeable and accomplished than myself, I figured I’d write about EDH again.
Thursday, February 25th – This past weekend was apparently an impromptu experiment for me to see if there was such a thing as “too much Magic.†I was very nearly pushed to the brink, as Pro Tour: San Diego had event upon event upon event and one could battle Magically in any number of formats for vast assortment of different prizes.
