Thursday, February 25th – With the results from Pro Tour: San Diego in the books, and all eyes turned to Richmond for this weekend’s StarCityGames.com Standard Open, Adrian Sullivan sorts through the statistics and brings us the lowdown on the real decks that made the “Top 8.â€
Thursday, February 25th – After a fine performance at Grand Prix: Oakland, Cedric Phillips rocked up to Pro Tour: San Diego packing the deck for which he is famous: White Weenie! Today, he regales us with tales from the tournament floor, including match recaps for each battle during Day 1 play!
Wednesday, February 24th – Pro Tour: San Diego occurred this past weekend, and some very interesting information came out of the event. We saw some new deck lists for standard, and a historic run by LSV cut short by eventual champion Simon Görtzen of Germany. We also saw some information on the new Duel Decks coming this spring, Phyrexia vs. the Coalition. That’s a lot to cover, so let’s get started.

Tuesday, February 23rd – Another Pro Tour has come and gone, and this one is quite a doozy. If you had told me a month ago that I’d be thrilled to play Standard, I’d have called you a liar (I feel like I’ve said that before). However, here I am, unfathomably eager for March to roll around for the StarCityGames.com Open in Indianapolis…
Tuesday, February 23rd – Sam Black set off for Pro Tour: San Diego feeling confident, focused, and well prepared. Armed with an excellent deck from Zvi Mowshowitz, and some great Limited skills, he posted an excellent finish, one that ranks as a personal Pro Tour best. Monday, February 22nd – I have been playing online, with a high degree of success, a deck that I thought was under wraps but, apparently, is widely known these days. I’ve simply been calling it “Crab, Go.â€

Wednesday, February 17th – Yes, there was a Grand Prix last weekend, but with Pro Tour: San Diego this coming weekend, and the StarCityGames.com Open the weekend after, I think it’s slightly more fitting this week that I focus on Standard. I’ve spent the last two weeks gushing over the Jace decks in the post-Worldwake format, and so this week I’d like to discuss the other decks a little more thoroughly.
Monday, February 15th – Kyle turned his back on Extended in Oakland this past weekend, choosing instead to update his Ranger of Crabs Standard deck and rock out a local $1000 Standard tournament. He rattled through the competition to a high finish, and he shares his thoughts on the deck today!
