Future Sight is here and I see that I’ve been Timeshifted to Wednesdays. I’d like to talk about a funny thing that has happened to me on Magic Online over the last two weeks. I have not won product at a rate such that I can sustain myself without buying more — as the kids say, I haven’t “gone infinite” — because my draft skill is still a work in progress. However, I haven’t had to pay for a whole lot of my draft practice either. The reason for this is Momir Basic.
The Ultimate Extended Tournament began with 32 decks, and it is down to nine. (Yes, nine.) Those nine decks contain a total of eleven cards that were, at later times, banned in Extended. It really is a battle of broken decks — but disruption is proving more important than brokenness. Force of Will is heading the disruption team — and Force of Will forces me to talk about Future Sight.
With the Time Spiral Block Constructed now behind us, Adrian Sullivan brings us four nifty Block decklists that could have an impact on the metagame going forward.
