Flow of Ideas – A Last Look at Reveillark

Thursday, September 10th – Standard season is over. Yet, I would feel remiss if I did not provide one more article on Reveillark.
Yawgmoth’s Whimsy #292 – Finally, Wizards Prints a Faerie-Hoser for Standard

Thursday, September 10th – Yes, Zendikar, the whole set, will end the Fae menace in Standard. Rotations solve any problem. Beyond that, though, we really cannot do more than speculate about the new Standard. A week or two, another couple hundred spoiled cards and we can talk. Until then, I am thinking about Ultimate Standard and introductory Pauper.
The Justice League – Rules, Learning, and FAQs

Thursday, September 10th – My favorite time to judge is at prereleases, because all of the cards are shiny and new, and nobody knows exactly how they work yet. Players come to you with genuine questions because they don’t understand how something works on a card that you haven’t even seen yet, and that seat-of-the-pants judging is my kind of judging!

Insert Column Name Here: Planechase – The First Impressions!

Tuesday, September 8th – I was eager to get out there and tussle it up with the new Chaos — er, I mean Plane cards. I wanted to see whether this new twist would resound with multiplayers around the world, or whether it’d just be some barely-played variant like Vanguard. So what’s the verdict?
Black Magic – Extended: False Alarm

Tuesday, September 8th – With recent Zendikar revelations over the past few days, it seems that the predicted demise of Extended may have been a little premature. Sam Black examines some of the new cards that will define the New Extended, and shares his thoughts on the strengths and weaknesses of the approaching format. [Warning: Contains spoilers.]
