The Wizards Play Network page released the dates and events that award Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek promo cards for WPN stores.
The Commander Party and the Two-Headed Giant Commander Night events will feature the Highly Illogical and Munitions Enthusiast promos. Stores can schedule one Commander event per period, those being November 20–26 and January 15–21.
Both promos will be participation promos, with one going to each customer while supplies last. WPN Premium stores will receive traditional foil promo cards and non-Premium stores get non-foil promos.
A Solemn Simulacrum promo will be up for grabs during the Magic Presents: To Boldly Go Sealed league that runs from November 13 through January 28. Players start with six packs then improve their decks with more packs “by playing matches at Starfleet Academy and across the four quadrants of the galaxy, ranking up through Starfleet as they go.”
Players earn the Solemn Simulacrum, featuring Lal, when they reach the rank of Captain during the league.
The Standard Showdown event also runs from November 13 through January 28 and the winner each week gets a promo Burst Lightning.
The WPN site shows that another promo will be revealed later that will also be used for the Standard Showdown event.
