The Magic Show #45 — Grand Prix: Columbus

Watch Evan Erwin every Friday... at StarCityGames.com!
Hello everybody, and welcome to another edition of the Magic Show. You ready for a whole weekend’s worth of video compressed into just twenty minutes? But that’s not all – I have full deck tech rundowns from U.S. National Champ Paul Cheon’s “Bigger Fish”, Zac Hill and Richard Feldman’s B/G Skyshroud Poacher deck, and the Grand Prix champ Steve Sadin’s Billy Moreno-designed Flash Counterbalance deck!

Hello everybody, and welcome to another edition of the Magic Show. You ready for a whole weekend’s worth of video compressed into just twenty minutes? But that’s not all – I have full deck tech rundowns from U.S. National Champ Paul Cheon “Bigger Fish”, Zac Hill and Richard Feldman B/G Skyshroud Poacher deck, and the Grand Prix champ Steve Sadin‘s Billy Moreno-designed Flash Counterbalance deck!

In the show, you’ll find clips from players and personalities such as Craig Jones, Richard Feldman, Willy Edel on the Szliefer situation, Paul Cheon, Magic Show #43’s Reuben and Nick, Luis Scott-Vargas, Steve Sadin, Stephen Menendian, Doug Linn, Paul Mastriano, the Ferrett, and more!

Featuring the music of Gnarles Barkley, Linkin Park, midlake, Modest Mouse, and My Chemical Romance.

A huge thanks to everyone for taking the time to talk to me. It is much appreciated.

Deck Tech Videos

These next segments feature popular or well-known players showing off their legacy creations. I ask about the deck, sideboard strategies, their take on the Grand Prix, and more.

Finally, I was lucky enough to interview Steve Sadin just as he got into Top 8. Turns out he won the thing, which made this deck tech piece much more interesting. Also note it includes the two bad beat stories featured in this week’s show.

And that’s another show! I still have some footage locked away for a rainy day or a future show (depends on the weather, of course), so don’t think you’ve seen the last of this!

Again, thanks to the players who were kind enough to talk to me.

The rest (*cough*TimAten*cough*), I’ll be sure to track you down first next time. You’ve been warned!

So until next time, this is Evan Erwin, filming the Grand Prix so you don’t have to.
