Of the many recent debuts for Disney’s Lorcana trading card game, Maurice just might be the most inventive.
Maurice, aka Belle’s father in Beauty and the Beast, is a glimmer aligned with sapphire ink and costs six resources to play. At two attack and seven defense, it isn’t an offensive powerhouse, but its real strength is how it interacts with items, a great story match for the World-Famous Inventor. Whenever Maurice quests, you’ll pay 2 resources less for the next item you play in the same turn. And whenever you play an item, you may draw a card!
Lorcana’s The First Chapter is scheduled to release on August 18 in local game stores and September 1 for mass-market retail.
