Wednesday, July 21st – While there are a lot of tournaments and pickup games at all points of the day or night, Magic Online can become addictive, and very unhealthy. I’ve found myself playing Magic Online at almost every point in which I’m not at work or out eating dinner or drinking, which means I really need a change in direction, since all this time hasn’t amounted to very much over the years.

Wednesday, July 21st – New sets always mean new decks, and new ways to play old decks. Until just last year, though, Core Sets never really affected the game in such a way. I mean, sure, when Dragonstorm lost Seething Song back in Ravnica block the format was radically altered, but now that Core Sets rotate in the fall that wouldn’t make a huge difference these days.
Tuesday, July 20th – It’s been quite a while since I’ve listed the decks I play, so I thought it might be time (and a few voices in the forums have asked). They’ve morphed a little over the last six months or so, both due to new cards coming out and me liking to play with different things occasionally. While Rise of the Eldrazi hasn’t warped the format as Ken Nagle thought it might, it has certainly provided some material (and I’m sure an Emrakul discussion will ensue).
