Whenever another nontoken creature enters the battlefield under your control, investigate.
T, Sacrifice X Clues: Target opponent reveals the top X cards of their library. You may put a nonland permanent card with mana value X or less from among them onto the battlefield under your control. That player puts the rest on the bottom of their library in a random order.
A two-mana 1/2, Lonis, Cryptozoologist is obviously not much of an attacker, but rather seeks to bury your opponents in card value generated by their own cards! With Lonis on the battlefield, each creature that enters the battlefield for you will net you a clue, and before long you can cash those clues in for peek at the top cards of your opponent’s library and swipe a nonland permanent from among them while you’re at it! While Lonis seems especially strong in multiplayer formats, it might also fit nicely into a Collected Company shell in constructed formats where you can put multiple creatures onto the battlefield quickly.
