Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced that the suspension on in-store play for Magic: The Gathering has been extended through at least November 11.
The suspension, which comes as a continued response to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, only affects the United States and LATAM regions, and according to WotC, will be “…lifted no sooner than the delayed Commander Legends Prerelease.”
WotC also reminds event organizers that “remote play events remain available in Wizards Event Reporter and EventLink, but any live events scheduled will be automatically cancelled and removed from the Store and Event Locator.”
WotC intends to continue monitoring the situation and will reevaluate come their next scheduled update on November 11.
