Creatures that grant extra combat phases are nothing new, but are always powerful. The latest iteration of one of these cards is Karlach, Fury of Avernus from Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate.
Most comparable to cards like Moraug, Fury of Akoum or Aurelia, the Warleader, Karlach not only costs less, but also grants your creatures first strike until the end of turn. Plus, it allows you to choose a background, which could be deadly with the right combination. My personal preference would be to use Cultist of the Absolute as your background, to give Karlach +3/+3, flying, deathtouch, and Ward — Pay 3 life.
