Your Guide To Commander Legends: Battle For Baldur’s Gate Products

The next Commander Legends set is upon us! Use this guide to find the perfect product for you!

Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate features a normal lineup of products, all of which can be seen below.

Draft Boosters

Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate Draft Boosters contain “at least one legendary creature or planeswalker and at least one legendary Background card…” for a total of 20 cards:

  • 1 Legendary creature or planeswalker (rare or mythic rare in 31% of boosters)
  • 1 Legendary Background (rare in 1 of 12 boosters)
  • 1 Non-legendary rare or mythic rare card
  • 3 Uncommons
  • 13 Commons
  • 1 Traditional foil card of any rarity
  • 1 Token, ad card, or dungeon card

As a reminder, when drafting, you’ll take two cards per pick to build a Commander deck containing a minimum of 60 cards.

Prerelease Packs

  • Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate Draft Boosters
  • 1 Traditional foil rare or mythic rare from Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate with a foil year stamp
  • 1 D20
  • 1 Reusable deck box with divider
  • MTG Arena code card (where available)

Set Boosters

Set Boosters contain 15 cards per pack and have a chance of containing multiple rare or mythic rare cards.

  • 1 Foil-etched legendary creature or Background (rare or mythic rare in 1 of 3 boosters)
  • 1 Legendary creature or planeswalker (rare or mythic rare in 50% of boosters)
  • 1 Legendary Background (rare in 1 of 12 boosters)
  • 1 Rare or mythic rare (this can be legendary or non-legendary)
  • 1 Traditional foil card of any rarity, including Booster Fun cards
  • 1 Common or uncommon card with the rulebook treatment
  • 1 Basic land or foil basic land
  • 3 Common cards that are connected thematically
  • 3 Uncommon cards that are connected thematically
  • 2 Wildcards of any rarity
  • 1 Art card or foil-stamped art card
  • 1 Token, ad card, helper card, or a card from The List

Collector Boosters

  • 1 Foil-etched rare or mythic rare legendary creature or Background
  • 1 Traditional foil Booster Fun or extended-art rare or mythic rare
  • 1 Non-foil rulebook or borderless rare or mythic rare
  • 1 Non-foil extended-art rare or mythic rare from the Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate set
  • 1 Non-foil extended-art rare or mythic rare from Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate Commander set
  • 1 Traditional foil rare or mythic rare
  • 1 Foil-etched common or uncommon legendary creature or Background
  • 1 Traditional foil common or uncommon legendary creature or Background
  • 1 Traditional foil rulebook common or uncommon
  • 1 Traditional foil basic land
  • 2 Traditional foil uncommons
  • 3 Traditional foil commons
  • 1 Traditional foil double-sided token

Commander Decks

Each Commander deck also includes a Collector Booster Sample pack.

  • 1 Booster Fun rare or mythic rare that you can also find in Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate Collector Boosters (In 20% of Sample Packs, this card is traditional foil.)
  • 1 Traditional foil rulebook common or uncommon

Bundle

Bundles are great for players just getting started and include:

  • 1 Traditional foil alternate-art Wand of Wonder
