SCG CON Atlanta started gaming in 2025 on a high note! Not only did it kick off the Magic Spotlight Series with Magic Spotlight: Foundations, it brought together thousands of attendees and special guests, including Brian Kibler, Voxy, Olivia Gobert-Hicks, and a surprise appearance by Gavin Verhey.

Magic Spotlight: Foundations
Nick Odenheimer won Magic Spotlight: Foundations on January 5 with Gruul Aggro. He defeated over 1400 other players to claim the inaugural Magic Spotlight event, earning $10,000 and an invitation to Pro Tour Chicago alongside the rest of the event’s Top 8.
