"It’s good to be back in the underground.
If you spend a few weeks in the Standing Army of the Boros, you’ll see the appeal of being an Undercity Informer. It’s a hectic and dangerous existence, but I wouldn’t want any other. Every day is a Battle of Wits against the best and brightest (and nastiest) smugglers, thieves, and Information Dealers of the Black Market. It’s a constant struggle for power out there. Will my Underworld Connections serve me well today, or will the rug get pulled out from under my feet by some other Stealer of Secrets? Will my Political Trickery pan out, or will my maneuverings fall flat? Often I’m just one of many thieves hired for a job, and it’s a race to not only the prize but away from authorities. It’s quite exciting.
As I sit here, back in my quaint little flat in the Market District, no one is the wiser. My neighbors are blacksmiths and bakers and masons—honest people. They couldn’t handle what I do. Few could. But they go along their merry way, happy to spend their lives toiling in the mills and fields baking bread and forging steel for people with powers well out of their control…powers I play with every night. They say hello as they come home from work at night as I’m going out, and there’s always a hearty good morning as I pass them on the way up the stairs when I return. I have to wonder if those around me know who I really am.
Then again, I guess I don’t know who they really are either. Maybe they’re sneakier than I give them credit for…"

Silence…that’s correct. Well done.
During Dimir Week, mum’s the word and silence is definitely golden (often someone else’s gold, actually). And if you speak out of turn, you’ll end up black and blue! Speaking of, the two colors of House Dimir are popular among some of the big names of the game like Patrick Chapin, Ali Aintrazi, Nick Spagnolo, and others. We’ll hear opinions on things like cipher, transmute, Faeries, Shadowmage Infiltrator, and more…assuming you can decrypt the codes. You never know who is a Dimir agent—unless they tweet about it:

Biggest guildfail: judge with guild packs says to a table ‘Are you #Dimir?’ They reply ‘Yes.’ #MTGGTC

@revarien @mrtobey @psychicbattle what are you guys talking about? What’s this “Dimir” thing? There are only 9 guilds in ravnica. Obviously
— The Egg (@DanielYZhang) January 25, 2013
@bmkibler Guild? What guild? I’m just an innocent citizen playing UB, asking innocent questions, carrying innocent poison-tipped daggers…

@maro254 It’s raining at my Prerelease. Perfect weather for sneaking… #DIMIR

Having seen the Dimir prerelease card in action all night, it’s better than the other 4 put together. Massively upward adjust your appraisal
— Bill Boulden (@Spruke) January 26, 2013
Played #Dimir this morning and went 2-0, beating Boros and Simic. Much better than my #Orzhov Prerelease pool Wednesday.
— Mike McArtor (@MKMEdits) January 25, 2013
@maro254 @mtgaaron 5-0 with Dimir at the midnight prere. Been playing for 19 years and Magic still brings me so much joy. Much thanks!! 🙂

4-0-2 at the prerelease with #Dimir Glad I got out of work early! #MTGGTC #MTG
— Jeremy W Pinter (@JPinterMTG) January 26, 2013
Omigosh, was playing Dimir at the Prerelease so much fun! Removal AND free spells? Don’t mind if I do! A respectable, tho prizeless, 3-1-1.
— Kyle (@Kerrydan) January 27, 2013
Dimir seems woefully underpowered in Sealed, even w/ strongest guild leader promo. But maybe guild’s synergies are better in draft. #mtg

Managed to win the #Dimirror match. Once with triple Aberration and once via extort with one card left in the library.
— Justin D-Z (@justin_dz) January 27, 2013
2-0 On the back of a 21/21 consuming aberration 🙂 #dimir

Lesson learned: Never ask the Dimir for directions. #mtg
