Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast, Magic’s most iconic sweeper returns in Double Masters — Wrath of God!
First printed in Limited Edition Alpha, Wrath of God has become one of the most iconic spells in Magic’s history, and has even “gone beyond Magic to become a tabletop game shorthand verb for getting rid of everything in play.”
Over the years, Wrath of God has been reprinted in well over a dozen sets, most recently in Masterpiece Series: Amonkhet Invocations, and has had numerous different artworks.
Wrath of God will appear in Double Masters boosters as a rare, sporting its well known artwork by Kev Walker, but also as a Prerelease promotional card, featuring the new artwork by Thomas M. Baxa. Players can get their hands on a copy of the Prerelease Promotional Wrath of God by either “…buying a box of Double Masters or by playing in a Launch event”.
