Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and Marshall Sutcliffe, take a look at the latest iteration of a legendary Human Wizard from Innistrad: Crimson Vow — Geralf, Visionary Stitcher!
The latest version of Geralf calls back to his original version from Commander: 2014 Edition, but now is only three mana.
Zombies you control have flying.
U,T, Sacrifice another nontoken creature: Create an X/X blue Zombie creature token, where X is the sacrificed creature’s toughness.
You’re already going to want to be playing with Zombies if you’re playing with Geralf and now he gives them flying. While he doesn’t focus on mill like his original card, he still makes Zombies but now requires a nontoken creature to be offered up in exchange for the token.
What do you think of Geralf, Visionary Stitcher? Can he make the cut in Standard or will he offer Zombie players a new commander option?
Innistrad: Crimson Vow is currently scheduled for release on November 19. View our official preview gallery.
