Just days after Wizards of the Coast announced a pair of Magic: The Gathering Secret Lairs themed around the cult classic comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Reddit user captainvontapdat claims to have purchased both Lairs and revealed the bonus cards in each.

In captainvontapdat’s Reddit post, the writer claims that the Hasbro booth at San Diego Comic-Con was selling the Monty Python Secret Lairs in advance of their online availability, and that the writer purchased both Lairs during SDCC Preview Night. The post includes images of two previously unseen cards that give MTG reprints Monty Python-themed names and art.

According to the post, the bonus card for the Volume 1 Secret Lair is Cow-tapult, a re-themed version of the classic combo card Goblin Bombardment. Cow-tapult is a reference to a scene early in the film, in which French soldiers occupying a castle use a catapult to fling a cow (the flavor text is French for “Fetch the cow!”) and other barnyard animals at King Arthur and his knights.

Also according to the post, the bonus card for the Volume 2 Secret Lair is Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog, a re-themed version of the Tempest card Kezzerdrix. While more obscure than Goblin Bombardment, Kezzerdrix is a close match for the Killer Rabbit in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

The revealed bonus cards, if true, both reflect notable moments in the film. Early comments on the Reddit post, however, suggest dismay at the seeming exclusion of the weapon King Arthur used to get past the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog: the iconic Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.
