Pioneer $30K
Vincent Vitanza came out on top of the two-day, 288-person Pioneer $30K with Gruul Vehicles (Jegantha).

Vitanza reached the elimination rounds as the No. 3 seed, earning a bye to the quarterfinals. The lone Gruul Vehicles player in the Top 12 smoked the competition, taking down three straight Rakdos Midrange pilots to earn the trophy and $5,000 first-place prize. Vitanza, Dan Jessup, Daryl Ayers, and Joshua Floro all earned qualifications for the Regional Championship at the first DreamHack of 2023.

Christopher Kemple won the Pioneer $5K on Sunday with Mono-Green Devotion.

While Mono-Green Devotion didn’t make the Top 12 of the Pioneer main event, two players on the deck made the playoffs of the $5K, including the champion. Kemple defeated Bryce Morgan on Azorius Control in the finals. Kemple took home $1,500 and the lone qualification for the Regional Championship at the first DreamHack of 2023.

Modern $5K
Joseph Puglisi and Five-Color Indomitable Creativity claimed the top spot in the Modern $5K on Sunday.

Five-Color Indomitable Creativity claimed three spots in the Top 12 of the Modern $5K, with Puglisi winning it all. He defeated Ian Hendry on Jeskai Breach in the finals to clinch $1,500 and the lone qualification for the Regional Championship at the first DreamHack of 2023.

Battle Hardened
Rose Smyth won the Classic Constructed Battle Hardened event on Saturday with Dash, Inventor Extraordinaire.
Smyth defeated Pierre-Olivier Vallerand Beaudry, also on Dash, in the finals, leaving both Mechanologist players as the recipients of the two PTIs up for grabs. Smyth also earned a gold, cold foil Tiger Stripe Shuko and an exclusive Battle Hardened playmat.

Professional Tournament Invitational
After falling in the Top 4 of the Battle Hardened on Saturday, Brodie Spurlock won the Classic Constructed Professional Tournament Invitational on Sunday with Iyslander, Stormbind.
Spurlock topped Michael Feng on Oldhim, Grandfather of Eternity in the finals. Feng went undefeated until the finals. Decklists for the Professional Tournament Invitational aren’t available yet.
