Trading card grading service, PSA, has teamed up with Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and Marvel for the upcoming May edition of PSA Magazine.
While Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes is slated to release on June 26, PSA is starting the hype early with the May edition of their PSA Magazine Pop Culture & TCG edition.
Designed to resemble a Magic card frame, the magazine cover showcases Thanos brandishing the Infinity Gauntlet imbued with the Mind Stone, illustrated by Leinil Francis Yu & Sunny Gho. Each issue will also include a borderless traditional foil Swords to Plowshares promo card with art by Billy Christian
According to PSA, each promo will be “…sealed in a cello pack, inserted into a protective Card Saver, and shipped with the May issue…” and to sweeten the deal further, a limited number of copies will have a “rare parallel cover.” Attendees at MagicCon: Las Vegas (May 1-3) will also want to be on the lookout for an “exclusive variant,” which may refer to the promo card, but is currently unclear.
Those interested in getting their hands on this magazine and promo card combo will need to join PSA’s Collectors Club prior to April 14.
