A new Commander-centric bundle of 2,000 cards is coming to Magic Online today to give new and returning players a launching pad for Magic: The Gathering’s most popular format.
The Commander Workshop is a collection of cards coming from more than 120 sets, featuring 375 different commanders, and is up made up of mostly rares and mythic rares. It will be available in the Magic Online store following today’s client update and cost $39.
On top of the 375 cards that can helm a Commander deck, the bundle includes plenty of non-basic lands to allow multicolor decks to flourish and format staples like Smothering Tithe, Command Tower, Cyclonic Rift, Doubling Season, and more than 40 planeswalkers.
And with the product being for digital play on Magic Online, cards that are hard to acquire in paper like Wheel of Fortune, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, and Academy Rector can be included without issue.
