Wizards of the Coast (WotC) announced the cancellation of the Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek Beginner Box product today.
Citing delays in production, logistics, and shipping, WotC has stopped production of the Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek Beginner Box, impacting all regions.
While Magic: The Gathering has seen its share of product delays, especially in 2026 with issues regarding Reality Fracture, Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit™, Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes, and Magic: The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this is the first outright cancellation of a product this year.
The announcement states that customers who preordered the Beginner Box should contact their local game store for more information. Notably, no other Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek products will be affected by this cancellation.
