Wizards Play Network (WPN) has confirmed that Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit™ Play Boosters are experiencing delays reaching select distributors.
At this time, Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has not publicly stated which distributors have been affected, however Star City Games received the email above, confirming that our distributor is among the affected.
Products Impacted
- Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit™ Play Boosters
- Includes: Play Booster Box, Case, and Combo Packs.
According to WotC, product affected by these delays is expected to complete fulfillment by early September.
What This Means for Our Customers
If your order contained other Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit™ products in addition to the delayed Play Boosters, those items will be shipped by the end of business today, August 13, 2026.
NO ACTION IS NEEDED. As soon as the balance of the product on your order is received, it will be fulfilled and shipped. At that time, you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking number.
