Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced that select Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes products will experience delays in multiple regions.
According to WotC, the delays are being caused by a combination of “production and shipping issues” – a recurring issue that has plagued recent Magic set releases. Thankfully, Play Boosters, Collector Boosters, and Prerelease Packs are not expected to be impacted and are on schedule for the set’s Prerelease events (June 19-25).
For the products experiencing delays, WotC states that they will vary by region, and describes the timetable for their arrival as “fluid,” with some products expected to arrive shortly after Prerelease events while others may be pushed beyond the set’s tabletop release date (June 26).
