The highest PSA graded full set of Magic: The Gathering’s Alpha has gone up for sale. Currently holding Rank #1 on PSA, the owner, user dumb_mother, is asking $2.5 million for the complete set.

Despite having a few PSA 9s, the overall set rating has an impressive 10.979 rating – having been awarded bonus points for several cards that are speculated to be the only PSA 10 versions of those card in existence. These include iconic cards like Birds of Paradise, Basalt Monolith, Chaos Orb, and more.

While $2.5 million is well out of the price range of the majority of Magic players, the asking price is likely a very good deal, as a PSA 10 Black Lotus alone sold for over $500,000 back in January of last year.

Many Reddit users have weighed in as well, noting that this is essentially the pinnacle of MTG collecting and whoever decides to purchase it will own a significant piece of history, not to mention it’s likely to be worth far more in the future.

So what do you think of this amazing collection? Would you drop $2.5 million on something like this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments on Facebook and Twitter.
