SCG CON returns for its third installment of the year with a special fan appreciation event in Charlotte this weekend. Magic: The Gathering players can get the most bang for their buck with a two-day Modern $20K for 20 bucks starting on Saturday and a Modern $10K for just $10 on Sunday. Throwback Drafts will be firing all weekend along with the usual spread of side events. Flesh and Blood players have their share of action with Armory Events, a Battle Hardened, and a Professional Tournament Invitational. On top of the scheduled events, there are special guests, artists, and more to see at SCG CON Charlotte.

Magic players can meet the godfather of Commander, Sheldon Menery, and The Professor of Tolarian Community College this weekend. Menery is a founding member of the Commander Rules Committee, longtime Commander writer, and advocate for the 100-card format. The Professor is one of the biggest content creators in the game with a YouTube channel that boasts more than 810,000 subscribers.

Magic players looking to score some byes for the Modern $20K main event on Saturday can play in one of the two Modern $20K Trials. And for those who want to experience a blast from the past, a Ravnica Allegiance Throwback Draft is set to fire at 2 PM.

Live demos and learn to play sessions for SolForge Fusion, the world’s first hybrid deckbuilding game from Richard Garfield and Justin Gary, will be available at SCG CON Indianapolis. SolForge Fusion uses Algorithmically-generated uniquely printed decks to create novel experiences. The game has an organized play system in the works and is made by Stone Blade Entertainment. For those wanting to play as much Commander as possible, the Commander Celebration is available for $80. Basic Bundle and Premier Bundle
For those looking to play at their own pace, the Basic Bundle and the Premier Bundle offer players a way to jump in whichever side events they want over the weekend.
