Disney’s upcoming trading card game (TCG), Lorcana, has revealed there is a sixth card rarity in the game — Enchanted!
Described as an “extremely rare type of card featuring exciting alternate artwork of some of the cards found in The First Chapter“, enchanted rarity cards have a special Inkwash foiling treatment that was previously only available on D23 Expo 2022 promotional cards.
With Lorcana set to make its official debut this weekend at Gen Con in Indianapolis, developer Ravensburger has asked fans attending to post pictures of any enchanted cards opened on X (formerly Twitter) and include @DisneyLorcana and the hashtag #EnchantedSeeker. The first confirmed poster will be invited to a “special event at Gen Con on Sunday at 3:00 PM”.
UPDATE: Many Lorcana fans have received their product and the first few Enchanted cards have been shared!
Lorcana’s The First Chapter is scheduled to release on August 18 in local game stores and September 1 for mass-market retail.
