Monday, June 23rd – I want to talk about the decks available in the Block Constructed format. A lot of people have complained about the monotony of Lorwyn Block, saying that there are only 3-4 real decks that have a chance at winning. Those decks of course are Kithkin, Faeries, and Vivid-Pool decks… But that’s just phooey.
Monday, June 16th – By the time you read this, the first PTQs of the season will be over, and Lorwyn Block Constructed Season will be underway. Over the coming weeks I will try, as so many of you will do the same, to win one a Test of Endurance, a Battle of Wits, in Mortal Combat with my peers in an Epic Struggle to… I can’t figure out how to fit Chance Encounter in here, but you get the point.
Tuesday, June 10th – Like so many of you, I participated in a Regional Championship this past weekend. My personal story takes place in Columbus, Ohio this past Saturday morning…

That give you 130 hours from the time this article is posted to learn everything you possibly can about the current Standard metagame before the player meeting, so we’d better get to steppin’.
Monday, May 26th – In this installment of The Main Phase I want to explore what has worked in the past in the hopes that perhaps it will lead us in the right direction for the future. I admit that it is entirely possible that there may be nothing here… but we’ll never know if we don’t dig around every once and a while. There may be a diamond in the rough.
