Wizards of the Coast (WotC) announced today that Magic: The Gathering is teaming up with the FINAL FANTASY TCG for a pair of promo cards that create the perfect team.
Players can get traditional foil copies of Swords to Plowshares from MTG and Alphinaud from the FINAL FANTASY TCG at MagicCon: Las Vegas and Magic Spotlight: FINAL FANTASY in June. Both cards will be given to players who register for any scheduled side event that uses Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY products and the Two-Headed Giant or Team Limited formats at MagicCon: Las Vegas while supplies last.
Players in the Magic Spotlight: FINAL FANTASY’s Team Limited Open event on June 29 will also get both cards. Notably, the Swords to Plowshares will be in English at MagicCon: Las Vegas and in Japanese at Magic Spotlight: FINAL FANTASY. Some side events at Magic Spotlight: FINAL FANTASY may also provide these promos.
Events for the FINAL FANTASY TCG may award both cards as well. More information will be available from the FINAL FANTASY TCG site by SQUARE ENIX.
