Love playing Abzan Aggro but really hate enters-the-battlefield-tapped lands? Me neither, but this deck is kind of similar.
It has some suspect cards in it that really make you wonder whether or not it’s worth it to not play three colors, but as Magic history has shown us, a pile of crappy creatures with a good mana curve is probably a good deck.
This deck has a plethora of one-drops, which is certainly a nice place to start if you’re eschewing power for speed. Mardu Woe-Reaper and Sunblade Elf might not be super impressive, but they get the job done. Warden of the First Tree is the real hero, proving to be a threat no matter what stage in the game you’re in. Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Fleecemane Lion are two of the most powerful cards for W/G Aggro, and Hushwing Gryff is a nice maindeck hate card for all the Rhinos running around.
Maxing on Citadel Siege is unheard of, but apparently it works quite well in decks like this. Between that and Spear of Heliod, you’re focused on pumping your own creatures than dealing with theirs, which is a fine avenue to take. For everything else, there’s Valorous Stance and Banishing Light.
