Grand Prix Orlando sounds awesome, but how will you get there? Cedric Phillips brings you the flight, hotel, and parking info you need in today’s Countdown Blog!

Grand Prix Orlando March 24-26!

Welcome back to the Grand Prix Orlando countdown blog! Yesterday, I introduced you to the wonderful cosplayers who will be joining us at Grand Prix Orlando this weekend. So if you’re looking to get a photo with Elvish Visionary, Pia Nalaar, Chandra, or Liliana, The City Beautiful is the place to be on March 24-26.

Now that you know all of the reasons to attend Grand Prix Orlando, the only thing left to do is figure out how to get there and where to lay your head at night. So let’s talk travel and lodging today, shall we?

Airports

If you’re flying to Grand Prix Orlando, you’ve only got one airport to choose from: Orlando International Airport. Orlando International Airport is an international airport six miles southeast of Orlando, Florida. The airport is the second-busiest in the state of Florida, as over 40.2 million passengers were handled at the airport as of 2015. I’ve flown through MCO quite a few times during my travels for the SCG Tour and have found it fairly simple to navigate, so anyone with fears of having to navigate a complex airport can rest easy.
