of fact, we are having a Magic: The Gathering celebration of sorts at Grand Prix Atlanta. What kind of celebration, you ask? Why, a Commander Celebration!
With the release of Commander 2015 so close to Grand Prix Atlanta, we will be hosting several Commander-centric events. Those events include the
Commander Meet & Greet, Commander Seminar, and spell-slinging in The Command Zone!
Commander Meet & Greet
On Friday, November 13th, from 2pm – 5pm, Sheldon Menery, Bennie Smith, MJ Scott, and the entire Commander VS Series crew (Jonathan
Suarez, Wes Wise, Stephen Green, Justin Parnell, and Danny West) will be available to meet fans, sign autographs, and pose for pictures at Grand Prix
Atlanta’s exclusive Commander Meet & Greet!
So if you’ve ever wanted to get your Cryptic Commands signed by Wes Wise, Homeward Paths signed by Jonathan Suarez, or have Stephen Green sign your Steel
Hellkites, make sure to stop by and see them at the Commander Meet & Greet!
Commander Seminar
Later, on the evening of Friday, November 13th, from 7pm – 9pm, join the seven Commander luminaries from the Commander Meet & Greet as
they share their thoughts on the Commander format then take questions from the audience!
Command Zone
Want to put these Commander All-Stars to the test? If you signed up for the Commander Celebration Badge, bring your Commander deck and play against and
along with Sheldon Menery, Bennie Smith, and Danny West inside of Grand Prix Atlanta’sCommand Zone! They will all be ready for some Commander action on Saturday, November 14th and Sunday, November 15th, from 9am – 1pm and 2pm – 6pm.

Although Sheldon’s community contributions are numerous, one of his most significant is pioneering EDH (now known as Commander). He brought the most social
of all formats to the judge community and with their help, made it into the most popular casual format of all-time. Sheldon is a founding and current
member of the Commander Rules Committee and commonly regarded as the public face of the format.

Mark Globus
Mark Globus came to Wizards of the Coast in 2007 as a result of the first Great Designer Search and has since led the design of Magic 2012 and Magic 2014, as well as the development of the original Commander release. Mark currently oversees supplemental products as a Magic R&D Game Design Architect and was a member of Commander 2015‘s Development team.
