The first preview panel at MagicCon: Amsterdam provided an in-depth look at Reality Fracture and the future of the Magic universe.
Reality Fracture is the final in-universe Magic set of 2026 and it will bring players into the mind and Echoverse of Jace. While a few previews had already been revealed, today’s panel showed off multiple planeswalkers, cards from each school of Hexhaven, and a couple Booster Fun treatments.
Let’s dive into Reality Fracture, starting off with some key dates.

Now, how about those previews? Kicking it all off is The Theorist, Jace Beleren!
And the original Lorwyn five all return, with most of them getting new planeswalker treatment.
While Liliana isn’t a planeswalker in the current Magic universe or the Echoverse that doesn’t mean we miss out on some sweet Liliana creatures.
And the alternate reality pairs aren’t limited to the headlining characters. Take a look at Tinybones and Titanbones!
Jace’s military academy, Hexhaven, features the five allied-color schools that fans have been asking for since Strixhaven.
The what-ifs don’t stop there. What would a new take on Dark Confidant and Craterhoof Behemoth look like?
Reality Fracture will include a handful of Booster Fun treatments, but we get to see the Borderless Echoed Pair and Shattered Mirror treatments to start.
And the twisted reality isn’t contained to just the cards, Reality Fracture will also have a Secret Lair Bundle that includes Secret Lair treatments.
