Announcing Magic Spotlight: Fracture
That’s right, the format for Magic Spotlight: Fracture is Standard, which will be infused with hundreds of new cards from Reality Fracture. Reality Fracture takes players inside Jace’s alternate reality — the Echoverse — and all of the mind mage’s twisted view of what should be: including new takes on planeswalkers and the opposing five schools from Strixhaven. You can wield the power of a blue Chandra or any of the other creation’s from Jace’s imagination at these locations:
- Hartford, Connecticut: October 23-25 — Hosted by Star City Games
- Beijing, China: October 30-November 1 — Hosted by Kadou
What is the Spotlight Series?
The Magic Spotlight Series is a collection of large-scale, open events that let anyone play high-level Magic with no pre-qualification required! These two-day events allow players the opportunity to compete for unique and awesome loot, including cash prizes, exclusive promo cards, and invitations to the Pro Tour. Each event also features tons of exciting attractions outside the main event, including vendors, side events, special guests, and more!
What Can I Win?
Each Magic Spotlight: Fracture event features a $50,000 prize pool with all participants receiving a stunning, non-foil Jace Beleren promo card, illustrated by Cristi Balanescu. Additionally, the Top 128 players will receive traditional foil copies of this promo card. The Top 8 players in each main event will also receive invitations to an upcoming Pro Tour.
