Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced that the first look for Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek will take place tomorrow, July 14, on Weekly MTG.
For those curious why we’re seeing new cards from Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek rather than Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit™ which is up next on Magic’s 2026 release timeline, or Reality Fracture which drops in October, it’s because WotC has confirmed that the panels at MagicCon: Amsterdam later this week will be fully focused on sharing previews and new details for both of these sets.
Fans of Star Trek will want to tune in to tomorrow’s Weekly MTG live stream at 10 AM PT to see new cards and more from the set, but in the meantime, you can check out four new pieces of art.
