Core Set 2021 Standard has been a format dominated by Temur Reclamation, with the occasional victory by Bant Ramp and Mono-Green Aggro. So to see Mono-White Aggro, a deck no one had on their radar, win an event of over 1,000 people speaks volumes and may give aggressive players renewed hope moving forward.

After making short work of both the Quarterfinals and Semifinals competition, the Finals came down to Yuki squaring off against Quentin Leroy piloting the deck he wanted to play against all tournament long — Temur Reclamation.

In the end, Yuki was able to get underneath Leroy’s build of the popular archetype, just as he did to so many before him, winning the match 2-1 and crowning himself Red Bull Untapped International Qualifier III champion.
