Nearly four years to the day of their release, reprints of the Magic: The Gathering Universes Beyond: Warhammer 40K Commander decks have been confirmed.
In a response to the initial inquiry from IGN, a Wizards of the Coast (WotC) representative confirmed that the popular precons would be receiving a “…small reprint… available to distributors and stores soon…” and that “Fans and WPN retailers should check with their distributors for availability, as it may vary by region.”
Released on October 7, 2022, the four Universes Beyond: Warhammer 40K decks quickly became a hot commodity within the Commander community. Four years later, that popularity is reflected in the price tag on the secondary market, where sealed copies of the decks reach well into triple digits.
Important to note, this round of reprints will contain the regular versions of the precons. At this time, WotC has not mentioned if the collector’s editions will be reprinted.
