WotC Announces Next Arena Open Date And Format

The MTG Arena Open returns August 1!

Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced that the massively popular MTG Arena Open is returning beginning August 1.

On August 1st we're holding the next Arena Open, and the format is….. Historic! Bring your best Historic deck and compete for some sweet rewards (like $2,000). pic.twitter.com/xFyhOKURGU

The Historic format open event will begin at 8 AM PT on August 1, and requires no pre-qualification in order to participate. Similar to the first Arena Open, the event will be held across two days, and players will have the opportunity to compete for a chance to win up to $2,000 USD.
