A three mana 3/2, Blex, Vexing Pest comes with a strong anthem effect that compliments a menagerie of creature types. It’s also a solid creature to combat the more aggressive decks, able to trade up thanks to its three power and gain you four life in the process.
Look at the top five cards of your library. You may put any number of them into your hand and the rest into your graveyard. You lose 3 life for each card you put into your hand this way.
On the flip side, Search for Blex is an expensive but powerful dig spell, allowing you a look at your top five cards and have the option to put any number of them into you hand at the cost of 3 life per card. Additionally, it should be noted that the cards you choose not to put into your hand go to the graveyard rather than getting shuffled back into your library, meaning this card is great for decks that look for ways to selectively fill the graveyard.
Also previewed alongside Blex was another Witherbloom common card that looks incredible for Limited — Infuse with Vitality!
