Thanks to the new foretell mechanic, Doomskar is one of the most powerful sweepers ever printed. With Doomskar, slower decks can now clear the battlefield on Turn 3, greatly hindering the decks looking to apply early-game pressure. This applies not just to control decks either, as some of the grindier midrange decks can easily set aside a sideboard slot or two for this card to bring in against the more aggressive decks.
