In what is turning out to be no longer a surprise, every deck in the Top 8 was built around a companion – four Lurrus of the Dream-Den, three Yorion, Sky Nomad, and one Obosh, the Preypiercer. The finals matchup was a Yorion Azorius Devotion mirror, with Th00mor coming out on top of SourceOdin 2-0. The deck is an evolution of the previous Mono-White Devotion deck, adding blue for Teferi, Time Raveler and Reflector Mage along with sideboard copies of Mystical Dispute.
The other Yorion deck was the Orzhov Doom Foretold build, revolving around enchantments like Demonic Pact, Starfield of Nyx, and Doom Foretold played by hodortimebaby. The four Lurrus decks were three Orzhov Auras and one Boros Burn. The odd ball of the group was Silvos1992’s Obosh Gruul Aggro deck that plays half efficient beatdown with Gruul Spellbreaker and Steel Leaf Champion and half ramp into The Great Henge or a lethal Crater’s Claws.
