Strixhaven: School of Mages will complete the cycle of rare dual lands originally started in Shadows Over Innistrad.

Necroblossom Snarl Vineglimmer Snarl

Frostboil Snarl, Furycalm Snarl, Shineshadow Snarl, Necroblossom Snarl, and Vineglimmer Snarl will finish the cycle, adding the enemy-color paired lands that match the five colleges from Strixhaven. These lands will enter the battlefield untapped if you reveal a land that corresponds with the colors of the land like a Mountain or Plains for Furycalm Snarl, otherwise they enter the battlefield tapped.

The allied-color cycle didn’t use the Snarl naming convention in Shadows Over Innistrad, instead opting for Choked Estuary, Foreboding Ruins, Fortified Village, Game Trail, and Port Town.

While the first cycle of lands saw Standard play, they never really broke through in older formats.

So what do you think of this cycle of lands? Will they have an impact on Strixhaven Standard? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
