Earlier today, the World Health Organization (WHO) officially declared the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak to be a pandemic, and the DC Health Department recommended that “non-essential mass gatherings, including conferences and conventions, be postponed or cancelled.” through March 31.
In light of this new information, Star City Games has decided to cancel the following SCG Tour events:
- March 14-15 SCG Baltimore
- March 21-22 SCG Syracuse
We are currently working with both venues to try and reschedule these events for some time later this year.
Anyone who preregistered for either event will be refunded the full amount of their entry fee over the coming days. If you have any travel-related questions regarding individual airlines’ and/or hotels’ cancellation/refund policies, please contact the airline(s) and/or hotel(s) directly to request a refund or credit.
All Star City Games website orders that were scheduled to be picked up on-site at either event will be shipped this Friday, March 13, free of charge. If you have any questions regarding such an order, please contact our Customer Service team at [email protected] by 5pm ET on Thursday, March 12.
