Quatch drafted a Jeskai Cycling deck in the Top 8, ignoring the Lutri, the Spellchaser in the sideboard with multiple copies of Flourishing Fox, Prickly Marmoset, Reptilian Reflection, and Startling Development. On top of the solid cycling creature base, Quatch also had Shark Typhoon, Unpredictable Cyclone, and Skycat Sovereign as rares to go with a copy of Zenith Flare.
Quatch beat Eken. on Jund in the quarters and ScriptKip on Sultai in the semis before taking the title with a 2-0 win over andreev on Orzhov in the finals. Quatch opted to go without their companion, leaving just one companion deck in the Top 8, Eli12 on Umori Simic.
