Pulliam earned an invite to the Innistrad Championship and $1,500 by winning the 157-person event, only dropping a single match in the Swiss. Pulliam lost Round 6 to Thierry Ramboa on Izzet Dragons, but entered the elimination rounds as the #3 seed, getting a bye through the Wildcard Playoff round. Pulliam’s path to finals involved defeating Yo Akaike and Tian Fa Mun, both on Izzet Epiphany. Pulliam won his first SCG Championship Qualifier after ten Top 12s by beating Ken Uzaki on Mono-White Aggro❄ 2-0 in the finals.
The Top 12 included four copies of Mono-Green Aggro❄, three copies of Mono-White Aggro❄ and Izzet Epiphany, and single copies of Izzet Dragons and Grixis Dragons.
