Possible Innistrad Leak Reportedly Surfaces In MTG Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Commander Precon

A new leak appears to show a card from Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Commander.

Editors note: The following information has not yet been confirmed or denied by Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and should be treated as such until an official statement has been made.

It hasn’t even been a week since Adventures in the Forgotten Realms released and we’ve already got what looks like a new, mythic rare creature, potentially from Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Commander.

Shared to the MagicTCG subreddit by user KingKragus, the leak was reportedly found mixed in with an Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Commander deck and appears to show a new keyword.

Coven – At the beginning of combat on your turn, put a +1/+1 counter on up to one target creature you control. Then, if you control three or more creatures with different powers, draw a card.

While not yet confirmed or denied, the flavor of Leinore, Autumn Sovereign does fit Innistrad quite well. The keyword Coven and the flavor text “She keeps the festival’s revels from faltering, infusing the witches’ rituals with hope.” implies the existence of a greater witch tribe on the plane, which will be exciting news to many.

From a gameplay standpoint, Leinore has a defensively-slanted 0/4 statline, but can buff itself or another target creature you control at the start of each of your combat phases, and if played as your Commander, you can choose when to cast it in order to get extra card draw as well.

So what do you think of Leinore, Autumn Sovereign? Is it real or just a cool fake? Let us know what you think in the comments.
