While slightly under-statted as a three mana 2/2, Oran-Rief Ooze makes up for the smaller stats by putting a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control upon entering the battlefield. Important to note, if you don’t control any other creatures, Oran-Rief Ooze can put the counter on itself.
When Oran-Rief Ooze attacks, put a +1/+1 counter on each attacking creature with a +1/+1 counter on it.
In the right deck, an attack from Oran-Rief Ooze could produce a huge number of +1/+1 counters and help build an insurmountable battlefield. Plus, it’s likely to be a hit with both Commander players and an auto-include in Ooze tribal decks.
