Screenshots from the official Magic: The Gathering Amazon page appear to show Innistrad: Crimson Vow Set and Draft Booster Boxes including Box Topper bonuses.
Originally posted to the magicTCG subreddit by user doublefang, the screenshot shows two listings for November’s set release — Innistrad: Crimson Vow, each of which appears to include Box Toppers. While Box Toppers are nothing new, having been featured in Double Masters, Ultimate Masters, Zendikar Rising, and more, they are distinctly different than Buy-A-Box promos, which Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has recently been providing for local game stores to give out as preorder incentives.
While the return of Box Toppers is not necessarily a bad thing, it struck many in the community as a bit odd, seeing as no official mention of them has been made for either Innistrad: Crimson Vow or Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, and in the off-chance the listing is inaccurate, it would be a huge blunder on WotC’s part.
So what do you think of the potential return of Box Toppers? Do you think these listings are accurate? Let us know what you think the comments.
