The MagicCon: Las Vegas Preview Panel gave players an inside scoop on cards and art from the next three upcoming Magic: The Gathering sets.
The live streamed preview panel offered up a few more previews from Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes, but also gave a first glimpse of cards from Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit™, and Reality Fracture — the final in-universe set of 2026.
Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes

What better way to kick things off than by beholding the next Infinity Stone and headliner, The Mind Stone!

We also got to see two cards for Vision, one from the main set and one from the Commander set.

Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes is scheduled for release on June 26. More previews are only a few weeks away.
Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit™

Next, we return to Middle-earth with Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit™. Follow along with the story as the dwarves and Bilbo travel to the Lonely Mountain, encounter Gollum, Smaug, Thorin, and more. Feast your eyes on the Booster Fun treatments and the headliner — Smaug, The Magnificent.

Some Middle-earth favorites return as reprints in the form of Box Toppers, such as The One Ring, Tom Bombadil, and Sauron.

More views of Middle-earth can be found on the full-art basic lands as well as the seasonal Plains.

The full product lineup is shown below along with some promos, like a Borderless Dwarven Language Arcane Signet.

More information on the set can be found here. Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit™ releases on August 14.
Reality Fracture

Finally, let’s see what’s going on in Reality Fracture — the last in-universe set of the year.
Reality Fracture takes place in the Echoverse, an alternate reality created by Jace to improve the multiverse populated by doppelgangers of familiar characters. This is an alternate reality from Jace’s mind, so it doesn’t mess with the color pie like Planar Chaos, but it has a special twist. Each booster pack will contain two versions of a character, so new and old players can see or remember what the character is in the multiverse and in the Echoverse.
For an example, let’s look at Chandra.

The prepared mechanic returns and can be seen on the headliner — Bloodline Recollector. This card, similar to Emeritus of Ideation can cast its own version of Ancestral Recall, but it’s black and called Ancestral Craving.

Reality Fracture also shows off Hexhaven, the Battle Mage academy of the Echoverse, where players can finally see the allied-color schools which offer new takes on similar fields of study.

What if Snapcaster Mage was red? Find out below along with a reveal of the Shattered Mirror Booster Fun treatment from the set.

The full product lineup for Reality Fracture can be seen below.

Oh yeah, the set also revolves around the Gatewatch taking on Jace. It’s a battle to see which universe lives on.

Reality Fracture will release on October 2
